The Renovation Era and African Americans

Current incidents spur an author's imagination and can be the basis for their works of fiction. In The Adventure of Huckleberry Finn by simply Mark Twain and Jubilee by Margaret Walker, the ideologies in the Reconstruction Age are the footings of their books. Hence, significant social and racial concerns derived in the aftermath from the American Civil War hugely shaped the goal of Mark Twain's and Margaret Walker's writing.

In Jubilee, the difficulties that African People in america faced went the novel's themes. It had been 1865; and the North had won a vicious war against its southern brothers.
